How to Share Wi-Fi Password Using QR Code on Android

How to View Saved Wi-Fi Passwords

Besides the QR Code and typing in the password by hand, there is a third way. On Android 12, a button below the QR code called “Nearby” also lets you share the password with other Android devices nearby. It works a lot like Apple’s iOS share password system. The Nearby Share feature on Android phones is used in this method, meaning the other devices must be in the same area to share.

Earlier, we mentioned that devices running Android 10 or later are required to access this feature. But what about other versions? Unfortunately, Android 9 and below do not have a way to share and find the Wi-Fi password unless the device is rooted, and this is because the saved network passwords are encrypted.
