Arriving a bit late at the party of Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro is the Honor 9X Lite. Announced in Finland, the mid-range phone has an affordable price of €199(~P11K). It seems like availability is for the European market, at least for now.
Taking a look at the Honor 9X Lite specs, it’s an aging mid-range phone for a 2020 device. At the core is the Kirin 710 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The EMUI 9 is still based on Android 9 Pie which makes us think whether it still comes with Google’s app and services out of the box. But given the late release, we wouldn’t be surprised if it comes with HMS. The battery is rated 3750mAh and supports 10W charging only, however, that’s through USB-C already.
One good thing about Honor 9X Lite is the 6.5″ IPS LCD FullView screen with FHD+ resolution. So content consumption should be good. Despite the large camera hump on the back, there are only two cameras here — 48MP and 2MP depth. While selfies are commanded by a 16MP sensor housed inside a medium-sized notch. The device comes in Midnight Black and Emerald Green colors.
Is the Honor 9X Lite worth buying? Let us know.
