Here’s a simple guide you can follow.
When you launch Settings on your iPhone, you will be able to start the process of updating your passcode.
If your iPhone has Touch ID or Face ID (depending on your phone model), you must select “Face ID and Passcode” from the Settings. (This can also be Touch ID and Passcode)
To proceed, you will need to enter the current passcode on your iPhone.
You will need to scroll down the open page and tap “Change Passcode” when it appears.
You need to type the new passcode you want to use when the “Enter Your New Passcode” message appears on the screen.
In case you want to use a different type of passcode, you can tap on the “Passcode Options” menu.

Upon reaching the “Verify Your New Passcode” page, you will be asked to enter your new password a second time.
