Changing Author via Quick EditÂ
Step 1: Log in to your WordPress account with administrator access. Click the Posts tab on the left pane. 
Step 2: Next look for the Quick Edit under the article title that you want to change the author. 
Step 3: Click the drop-down box under the Author category and then change it to the new author. 
Step 4: Click Update to save the changes.
Changing Author via the Post Editor Tab
Step 1: Go to the Posts tab on the left pane.
Step 2: Click the title of the article that you want to change author. 
Step 3: When the post is open, click the gear icon on the top right corner of the page then click the post tab. 
Step 4: Click the Author drop-down under the Summary in the Post tab and select your new author.
Step 5: Click Update to save the changes. 
Changing Authors for Multiple Posts
Step 1: Go to the Posts tab on the left pane. 
Step 2: To pick the posts whose authors you want to change, Click the boxes next to their titles. 
Step 3: Choose Edit from the drop-down menu for Bulk actions. Then, click apply. 
Step 4: Pick your chosen author from the list of alternatives that appears after clicking the Author drop-down.
