GoGo Xpress Just Ended Its Partnership With Shopee

Two days before the big 11.11 sale, Shopee Philippines lost a significant delivery partner.

Dino Araneta, the founder and executive chairman of QuadX Inc., said that his company, GoGo Xpress (formerly XPost), will no longer deliver Shopee items to customers’ homes.

Araneta said its six-year partnership with Shopee ended on November 9, 2022.

The founder of GoGo Xpress said, “while we’re going to be forever grateful for the opportunity to work together with Shopee, we have made a strategic decision to renew our company’s commitment to providing an equitable and sustainable ecosystem for the communities we serve – our online sellers, buyers, and riders.”

Araneta hinted that some of the ways Singaporean billionaire Forrest Li run his e-commerce platform leave much to be desired.

It is announced that GoGo Xpress will continue to focus on providing reasonably priced logistics and e-commerce tools for sellers, a delightful buying and delivery experience for buyers, and fair pay for our riders. This remains the core of our business and the reason we built the company: to improve the quality of life of our fellow Filipinos.
