If anything, the interesting designs of Huawei goods make them stand out. The company released the FreeBuds 5, which have a unique waterdrop shape, earlier this year.

They come in Frost Silver, Ceramic White, and Coral Orange from Huawei. Now, you can buy them in China in a new color called Galaxy Blue.

In China, the Huawei FreeBuds 5 in the new, eye-catching Galaxy Blue color costs ¥999, which is about PHP7,700. Details are still being worked out about where it will be sold around the world.

The FreeBuds 5 have all the features you’d expect from high-end wireless earbuds, but what makes them stand out is their unique waterdrop shape. Most earbuds either have a stem or don’t have a stem. The FreeBuds 5, on the other hand, are shaped like water drops and sit flush with the ear. This shape gives the skin more surface area, which helps to make it more comfortable and stable.

The L2HC and LDAC codecs, which are supported by the FreeBuds 5, make it possible to stream high-resolution music. On HarmonyOS 3 devices, they also have spatial audio, active noise cancellation (ANC), and dynamic EQ setting. Huawei says that its phones use a program that adapts to the shape of the user’s ear canal to reduce noise better.

The earbuds have an 11mm driver unit and use Bluetooth 5.2 to listen to a device. They can also connect to more than one point.

It is said that the earbuds can play for up to 5 hours, and that with the charging case, they can play for up to 30 hours. The case can be charged via USB-C and can also be charged wirelessly.
