When Pocophone F1 (or simply Poco F1) was announced with Snapdragon 845 that costs around $300 only or P17,990 in the Philippines, it was an instant hit. With fans hoping for a successor last year, Xiaomi insisted that the new replacing lineup is the Redmi K20 Pro (aka Mi 9T Pro) and would end the lifecycle of the affordable flagship killer device. But according to a trademark, the Pocophone F2 is coming soon.
Via Twitter, @_the_tech_guy, a trademark application for Poco F2 was posted. It has an application number 42820005 dated December 4, 2019. Compared to the trademark application of Poco F1, there were several different trademarks made to be used for China and Global markets. The earliest date of application was February 24, 2019, and the latest was June 6, 2018. The latter was just two months away from the official announcement of the original Poco phone. Could we be seeing the Pocophone F1 as early as March 2020? Regardless, we hope to see the phone arrive around the original price of its predecessor.
