Meet the Meizu Band, an affordable fitness band
Meizu just stepped into the wearable tech market with their first fitness bracelet, the Meizu band.
The Meizu band sports a smooth black design that hides the border of the OLED screen and features IP67 water and dust resistance.
Just like the other fitness bands, it tracks every footstep, calories, sleep time and heart rate. Its heart rate sensor will vibrate and alert you if you exceed the safety value of the beat frequency.
For someone who spends a lot of time sitting, the band will notify you to move and stretch yourself a little bit. It can also alert you of your incoming calls and texts and can locate your phone via Bluetooth.
The Meizu Health app connects and works along with the band and provides you a detailed information of your daily activity.
Charging the device is pretty neat with its magnetic charger and boasts its 7-days battery life with heart rate sensor activated and 15-days if deactivated.
The Meizu band will be officially priced on December 8 in China for CNY229 or $33 or around P1600 Philippine peso.
