Crysis has been released last year with a remaster and now, it seems the other two games in the Crysis trilogy are getting a remaster as well. This was announced by Crytek that Crysis 1, 2, and 3 will be bundled together and will be known as the Crysis Remastered Trilogy which will be coming this Fall 2021 and will be available as well as standalone purchases.
With the help of Saber Interactive, the trilogy will be optimized and enhanced for the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The trilogy will also be “even smoother” when it runs in PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Crysis Remastered not only showcased enhanced and improved visuals, but it also offered tons of new features such as “high-quality textures up to 8K, HDR support, temporal anti-aliasing, Screen Space Directional Occlusion (SSDO), Global Illumination (SVOGI), state-of-the-art depth fields, new light settings, motion blur, parallax occlusion mapping, Screen Space Reflections and Shadows (SSR & SSS) as well as new and updated particle effects and more.” Ray tracing was also present on PCs with NVIDIA RTX GPUs, Xbox One X, and PS4 Pro.
