Corning Incorporated recently announced its latest glass protection for mid-range and budget smartphones, the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
According to the company, the Gorilla Glass 7i comes with improved drop protection and scratch resistance. Tests also suggest that it can survive falls of up to one meter on surfaces like asphalt and offers twice more scratch resistant than other lithium aluminosilicate cover glasses.
The Gorilla Glass 7i is said to offer advanced toughness at an affordable price, assisting more individuals in protecting their smartphone investment.
OPPO is expected to be the first to feature the Gorilla Glass 7i. Details about the smartphone will be announced soon.
