Canon has officially launched the EOS R50 V in the Philippines after first announcing it in June 2025.
The Canon EOS R50 V is built for content creators and vloggers. It features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and a DIGIC X image processor.
For video, it supports UHD 4K at 60p with cropping and 4K at 30p with 6K oversampling, giving clear and detailed footage.
To make vlogging easier, the camera comes with a dedicated livestreaming button, a front recording button, and a side tripod screw slot for vertical shooting.
It uses Canon’s RF mount, making it compatible with RF lenses, including the new RF-S14-30mm f/4-6.3 IS STM PZ power zoom lens.
The Canon EOS R50 V is priced at PHP 56,998, while the EOS R50 V Creator Kit, which includes the HG-TBR100 and DM-E100, costs PHP 64,998. Both cameras are now available in Canon stores nationwide.
