Samsung officially announced that only Black Onyx and Gold Platinum of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 color variants will be released here in the Philippines. Meanwhile, the Blue Coral and Silver Titanium will not be sold for an unknown reason.
We’re suspecting that the cause is due to the complex Dual Tone or Duotones on the paint job of the metal and glass build of the Galaxy Note 7. But we’re still hoping that this limited availability in colors is temporary and two aforementioned colors will be supplied in the future.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with Coral Blue color has received a lot of attention since the new phablet was launched. This is because it’s a refreshing take on the premium color of the Galaxy S and Note series. Adding to it is the rose gold accent on the metal frame creating a dual-tone impression.
As of the moment, both Smart and Globe have been confirmed to carry only the Gold and Black variations. But there’s another possible channel on where to get the Blue or Silver Note 7, which is through gray or online markets. However, we haven’t heard yet for from the established online stores here in the Philippines about the status of the phablet as it’s official release date is still on August 19 worldwide (20th on the Philippines).
We will only find out the confirmation from these stores in the coming days. Stay tuned.
