Autowise Ventures, Inc. (Auto Icon Group) has signed a distributorship agreement with Avatr to bring the brand to the Philippine market.
Avatr is an electric vehicle (EV) brand under China’s Changan Auto Group.
The company plans to introduce three models during its initial rollout. These include the Avatr 11 electric SUV, the Avatr 12 executive sedan, and the Avatr 07 SUV.
The Avatr 07 will be offered in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (REEV) versions.
To support its operations, Avatr Philippines will open full-service 3S dealerships in Alabang and Bonifacio Global City.
Avatr is expected to officially launch in the country in the third quarter of 2026.
