It is common for consumers who want an extremely small and compact smartphone to be relegated to buying underpowered devices as they have no other choice. Thanks to the ASUS Zenfone 9, we now have a solution.
In line with its predecessor, the ASUS Zenfone 9 is a slim phone and has a 5.9-inch display, which makes it easy to operate with one hand thanks to its small build. Even though its size may deceive you, this is a full-fledged flagship smartphone.
Taking a look at the display itself, this one comes with an FHD OLED panel from Samsung. Furthermore, it features an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and 240 Hz touch sampling for better response in games.
In addition, the Zenfone 9 renders 1,100nits of brightness and has HDR10+ support, delta E1 calibration, and 151.9% sRGB color coverage.
This device easily qualifies as a flagship with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
With 8GB or 16GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage, it comes with a larger vapor cooling chamber.
The back has a neat and clean design made from a polymer material that’s more resistant to cracks and scratches. Frontal protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Furthermore, it is dust and water-resistant according to IP68 certification.
Two large lenses are also on the back, with increased sizes because the device is so small. There is also a 6-axis hybrid gimbal stabilizer on the main camera, which has a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor.
Further, ASUS introduced the Connex Accessories Set, which includes some quite intelligent accessories. One benefit of enabling the kickstand is that it automatically opens the streaming app when you do so.
In addition, a cardholder, connex case, and a smart backpack mount with a strap make it easy for you to check your map and whatnot while you’re outdoors.
