ICYMI, ASUS has recently unveiled its first-ever foldable laptop/tablet hybrid device, the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED. According to ASUS, its foldable design is durable as well as the hinge that’s also been tested for at least 30,000 bends.
The new ASUS hybrid device sports a large 17.3-inch (2560 x 1920) OLED display when folded and a 12.5-inch (1920 x 1280) screen when folded. It comes with different modes such as laptop mode, PC mode, tablet mode, and extended mode. There’s also a faux-leather kickstand to utilize the PC mode. Its OLED display is Pantone Validated and Dolby Vision HDR enabled.

Inside, the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED features up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 U Series processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, and it packs a 75WHr battery with USB-C 65W PD charging. For audio, it comes with 4x speakers with Smart Amp for 3.5x louder volume, Harman Kardon, and Dolby Atmos support.
The device also has an ultraslim 5.5mm ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard with 1.4mm long key travel and Bluetooth 5.1 tech.
Moreover, it is equipped with a 5MP sensor for video calling with ASUS 3DNR technology, an HD infrared camera with Intel visual sensing controller, as well as Windows Hello, and an integrated color sensor for automatic display adjustment. Ports include a 2x Thunderbolt 4 and 3.5mm audio combo jack.
