ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM gaming monitor unveiled

In a press release, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) recently unveiled a new gaming monitor and it is now available for pre-order — the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM.

World’s first 27″ 4K OLED gaming monitor!

The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM is touted as the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor. It comes with a four-lane DisplayPort 2.1a with up to 80Gbps bandwidth, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90-watt power delivery. It also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black, Dolby Vision, and HDR10, which can be selected through the OSD menu.

The gaming monitor features the latest fourth-generation ROG QD-OLED technology which delivers a pixel density of 166ppi. It also has a refresh rate of 240Hz and a 0.03ms response time.

Moreover, the monitor comes with the latest ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology that reduces flicker on the screen for more pleasant viewing and gaming. It has a 20-percent flicker reduction compared to previous models. To further lessen onscreen flicker, users can use the Refresh Rate Cap feature to set a maximum for the monitor’s refresh rate. To accommodate different preferences, this comes with three preset settings.

The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM also features the new ROG OLED Care Pro suite, which includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that can accurately determine the user’s distance from the display. In order to prevent screen burn-in, the monitor will change to a black image while the user is outside the detecting region. while the user returns, the onscreen content will be immediately restored.

To guarantee an ergonomic viewing position, the detection range can be adjusted to the user’s requirements. Pixel cleaning, screen saver, taskbar detection, a three-year warranty, and many other OLED protection functions are all included in ROG OLED Care Pro.

Pricing and Availability

The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM is priced at USD 1,099 (~PHP 64,016) and is now available for pre-order. It is expected to arrive in the Philippines this April 2025.
