Apple Card Family lets you Create a Healthy Credit History in the Family

Apple is introducing Apple Card Family as a new way to share your Apple Card with your loved ones. This will allow you to share and build credit history with your loved ones. You can also include your children as long as they are 18 years or older.

Apple Card Family will be available in the US this coming May. You can co-own an Apple Card as well as share and merge credit lines as you create credit history together. The user can track each spending easily as it is placed on a single monthly bill. Existing Apple Card users can also merge with others especially if they want a higher credit limit all the while keeping their APR lower with the two accounts.

There will also be a cashback program, Daily Cash, for the co-owners of the Card along with other people you share the account with. Users who are under this position but are not co-owners will be known as participants in Apple parlance.

There is also an option that owners, or co-owners, can place a spending limit on its participants, especially if they are underage. This teaches “smart and safe financial habits” especially if parents are educating their children on how to properly save and spend their money.
