Sony recently showcased the true power of their Z-series’ 4K video recording capability with making their very own 48K 360-degree video, similar to the Star Wars 360-degree video that we all had the fun of but, with a twist. Let’s take a closer on Sony’s very own work.

Technically, the 48K video is just a combination of 12 Xperia Z5 Compact phones shooting 4K UHD videos, which adds up to 12 by 4, summing to 48K. This combination results to the 48K 360-degrees video of a Snowy mountain shot and Ski resort of some sort. As for the previous 360-degree video we encountered, this can be played out and viewers can try to look around the video, with 4K UHD quality.
