Samsung’s 2015 high-end flagship the Samsung Galaxy S6 is GSMARENA’s Smartphone of the year. A poll that was recently conducted by GSMARENA, one of the world’s leading tech site squared off various high-end flagships that shined throughout 2015. Namely, competitors of the covenant Smartphone of the Year title are none other than Apple’s iPhone 6S, HTC’s One M9+ Supreme Camera, Huawei’s P8, LG’s G4, LG’s Nexus 5X, Microsoft’s Lumia 950, Sony’s Xperia Z5 and finally Samsung’s Galaxy S6.

Apple iPhone 6S took second place, with a nail-biting victory of the Sony Xperia Z5, which was defeated by only one percent. LG’s G4 was placed on 4th, with the unexpected Lumia 950 hitting only 8% of the total votes, which was shocking since the Lumia 950 built up quite of a hype. Overall, with a whopping 34% of votes, the Samsung Galaxy S6 reigned supreme over its high-end competitors.
