Snapchat has been struggling ever since it changed its layout and its competitors copied the 24-hour stories. But now, they are stepping up again by launching a new lens and this time it not just reacts to what it sees, but also what it hears.
The ephemeral messaging app has been putting new cool lenses including the ones that track our body there are also fun little games you can play with on filters. Now, the new lens filter has an animal mask overlay with pulsing and glowing ears and moving eyes which depends on sounds that it hears.
While Snapchat is launching these cool features, we are still waiting when will the layout go back to the chronological order of friend’s messages and other features that we used to love.
The current layout received a lot of backlash from its users that it led to 1.2 million people signing a petition to return the old layout.
As of now, we still have to be patient for the upcoming update on Snapchat’s layout and cool sound-tracking lens.
