The OnePlus 6 was launched a week ago and according to the company, it is the fastest selling OnePlus smartphone yet. Since the OnePlus 6 comes with a notched-screen, an update was expected. Now, the company finally rolled out the hide notch update.
Users can choose to use the notch or not. They can hide it through settings. In addition, the company also added a slo-mo video feature that allows users to record in slow motion – 720p at 480fps and 1080p at 240fps.
The OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch Full Optic Full HD+ display with 2180 x 1080p resolution. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As mentioned, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with Adreno 630.
This new OnePlus flagship smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1. It is fueled by a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge. It has both Face Unlock and Fingerprint sensor. It is also water-resistant and comes with a USB Type-C port.
Going to the cameras, it features a dual camera setup of 20 MP f/1.7 with Sony IMX519 zoom + 16 MP f/1.7 Sony IMX 376K sensors. It has an LED Flash, PDAF, OIS, EIC, 2x Optical Zoom, 4k video recording, and slo-mo features. For taking selfies, it sports an AI-powered 16 MP front snapper.
