Sony has started rolling out Android 8.0 update for Xperia XZ and Xperia XZs. The handsets both launched with Android 7.1 Nougat and expected to receive the update to Android Oreo before the year ends. Moreover, the Sony Xperia X Performance will also be receiving an Oreo update.
In the screenshots below, you can see that the security patch level now stands at December 1. However, there’s still no information on what other changes are included in the said update.
Last month, Sony released the Android Oreo update for Xperia XZ Premium. The update includes features like a 3D creator. Also, the update also included a predictive capture functionality and an autofocus burst mode.
