Sony has announced that their PlayStation VR or PS VR accessory for PS4 will be officially released and available in the Philippines by October 13, 2016. The SRP or official price is P22,900 while bundling it with the Sony PlayStation Camera costs P25,290.
Along the PS VR news and availability, major VR or Virtual Reality games have been announced too. Sony estimates more than 60+ titles will be available during the launch of the PS VR.
Not only the Philippines is scheduled to get the PS VR on the said date above as Sony is planning to release it too in Japan, USA, Europe, and Canada.
For starters, the Sony PS VR is the company’s answer to the competition such as Facebook’s Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Basic specs of Sony PS VR includes 1920×1080 pixels resolution on its 5.7-inch OLED display and up to 120fps frame rate. The headset is also compatible with the Sony PS4’s DualShock and Move controllers.
