
Samsung has launched a new budget Galaxy J Max Android 5.1 Lollipop tablet. It features a wide 7-inch TFT LCD (1280 x 800 pixels) display while full specs include a quad-core Spreadtrum processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB expandable internal memory, 4000mAh battery, and 8MP main camera. Other goodies are 4G LTE with hybrid dual-SIM card slot for 2nd SIM or microSD card, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1.
The same SC8830 CPU powers the new Samsung Galaxy J2 with Smart Glow LED notifications, which is clocked at 1.5GHz each core.

The Samsung Galaxy J Max will be released in India first while global launch will follow including the availability in the Philippines for an estimated price of P9,990 or $200 (before or after taxes).
