Microsoft Solds Off Nokia’s Feature Phone Business

The deal was made and 4,500 employees under the feature phone business will be given the chance to move over to Foxconn. Also, Microsoft also handed over a manufacturing plant in Hanoi, Taiwan as part of the overall agreement. This makes everyone wonder as to what exactly is Microsoft’s current state in the smartphone wars since just recently they revealed that the Lumia sales went down, which was unexpected and unfortunate at the same time.

This gives the question as to what future Microsoft holds for the expected Surface phones and if its something that can Microsoft deliver in time and could keep them in the battle. For now, we can only wait. What do you guys think about Microsoft’s move? We’d love to hear your thoughts on the comment section.
