Huawei Mate 60 Has 6.69-inch OLED 120Hz Display, 50MP Triple Cameras, 66W Charging

Huawei just launched the Huawei Mate 60 in China. After the US put restrictions on Huawei phones, this is the first one to come out with 5G.

The Huawei Mate 60 has a flat OLED screen with a hole in the middle. It has a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, which is Full HD+, a refresh rate of 120Hz, 10-bit colors, and PWM dimming at 1440Hz. The Mate 60 doesn’t have satellite connection, but the Mate 60 Pro does.

There is nothing known about the device’s chipset. It comes with up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone already has Harmony OS 4.0 on it.

The Huawei Mate 60 has a 13-megapixel camera on the front of the phone. On the back of the phone, there is a circular camera section with a 50-megapixel main camera that works with OIS and has an aperture that can change from f/1.4 to f/4.0. It has an ultra-wide lens with 12 megapixels and a periscope telephoto camera with 12 megapixels, OIS, 5x optical zoom, and 50x digital zoom.

Huawei Mate 60

The Mate 60 has a 4,750mAh battery that can be charged through a wire at 66W. It also works with 50W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse charging.

It is a device with an IP68 rating and a back made of second-generation Kunlun glass. It is 161.4 mm by 76 mm by 7.95 mm and weighs 209 grams.

The Huawei Mate 60 is now available in three different versions:

  • 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs ¥5,499 (PHP43,000)
  • 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs ¥5,999 (PHP47,000)
  • 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage costs ¥6,999 (PHP55,000)

It will be for sale in China by September 10th. Colors like Yadan Black, White Sand Silver, South Waxy Purple, and Ya Chuan Qing (green) will be available for buyers to choose from.

In China, Huawei is likely to show off the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ and Huawei Mate 60 RS in September.
