Tecno MegaBook T1 Intro Price Less PHP 26k: We broke the news a few weeks ago that TECNO plans to join the laptop market with their MegaBook T1 product. One of the most surprising things that came to light during that announcement was that TECNO intends to sell the MegaBook T1 in the Philippines for an initial price lower than ₱30,000.
How serious is TECNO about its claim that it would release a competent 15-inch laptop for less than ₱30,000 that will put the computers distributed by the Department of Education to shame? According to a TECNO Global Official Store website listing, the MegaBook T1 will have an introductory price of ₱25,990 when it is released in the Philippines on September 9.
The question is, what do you get for that price? Several valuable features will make you wonder why the DepEd got itself involved with selling laptops with Celeron processors that cost ₱60,000 each. The MegaBook T1 will reportedly have a Core i5 processor, 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM), and 512 gigabytes of solid-state storage for less than ₱26,000.
TECNO brings MegaBook T1 to the Philippines
A 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, 65 watts of USB-C charging power, a fingerprint reader, and a battery with a fair amount of watt-hour capacity are all included in the price. Nothing is if that isn’t an insanely excellent deal for the money.
Although TECNO mentioned in the offering that it only uses a 10th-generation Comet Lake CPU, it will be challenging to find any laptop priced at this one with a Core i5 processor–and additional features to boot.
Beginning September 9, 2022, consumers in the Philippines can choose from three distinct TECNO Megabook T1 laptop models.
The first 80 orders of the entry-level model, the first 150 orders of the mid-range model, and the first ten purchases of the premium model will all receive promotional pricing when it launches on Lazada Philippines.
