OPPO not only announced its two flagships: the OPPO Find X5 Pro and OPPO Find X5, but also the affordable device from the model series – the OPPO Find X5 Lite.
The OPPO Find X5 Lite eliminates the wireless charging, but can still charge its 4,500 mAh battery with 65W. It remains with an AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, but the screen to 6.43 inches. In addition, Gorilla Glass 5 is used for protection. The refresh rate is a maximum of 90 Hz. The camera is completely different here, because it is a triple camera without OIS or optical zoom: 64MP (wide angle) + 8MP (ultra wide angle) + 2MP (macro). The front camera is still 32MP.
The device only offers mono speakers. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 serves as the chip, which is connected to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 of storage space. The latter can even be expanded via microSD. Unfortunately, Android 11 with the ColorOS 12 cover is still used as the operating system, which is somewhat annoying, since some smartphones are using Android 12 nowadays.
The OPPO Find X5 Lite is IPX4 certified and measures 73.2 x 160.6 x 7.81 mm and weighs 173 grams. In this case, the back is made of polycarbonate. Here, too, a quick charger with full power, at 65W, is included in the box.
The OPPO Find X5 Lite is commercially available in two colors: Startrails Blue and Starry Black. It costs significantly less than its two big siblings – €499 (~P28,780).
