Google has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone series, the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Both smartphones are equipped with Google’s proprietary Tensor SoC. The Tensor chip is based on the advanced 5nm manufacturing process with 2x 2.80GHz Cortex-X1 + 2x 2.25GHz Cortex-A76 + 4x 1.80GHz Cortex-A55 cores. It is also paired with a Mali-G78 MP20 (848MHz) GPU and Titan M2 security chip for an extra layer of hardware-based security.
The Google Pixel 6 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,614mAh battery with 30W fast charging. For OS, it runs onAndroid 12. The rear camera configuration is dual consisting of 50MP (main) and 12MP (ultrawide) sensors. Upfront is an 8MP camera sensor.
On the other hand, the Google Pixel 6 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes in a much larger memory of up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The device also runs on Android 12 OS. Powering it is a larger battery of 5,003mAh with 30W fast charging. In addition, it comes with triple rear cameras consisting of 50MP (main), 48MP (telephoto), and 12MP (ultrawide) sensors. Upfront is an 11.1MP front camera. ![]()
