A fan-made PC port of Animal Crossing is now available through a decompilation project, allowing the game to run natively on computers without emulation.
The project, known as the Animal Crossing Decompilation Project, recreates the game’s source code from its original machine code.

With this, it is now possible to run the title directly on PC and potentially add new features beyond what emulators can offer.
However, some issues remain, including occasional bugs, texture problems, and audio glitches.
Keep in mind that Nintendo has not officially released any of its games on PC, and this project is not an official release.
On the other hand, the port is free to download, but users must own an original copy of the GameCube version of Animal Crossing.
The files provided do not include game assets, as these are read from the user’s own copy.
