YouTube Terminates ABS-CBN’s News Channel

As of November 3, 2020, YouTube has terminated ABS-CBN’s News Channel on the platform. When accessed, a prompt shows that the account has been terminated for no specific reason. But according to YouTube’s Help Page, a channel gets terminated due to “repeated violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service across any form of content (like repeatedly posting abusive, hateful, and/or harassing videos or comments) or A single case of severe abuse (such as predatory behavior, spam, or pornography).”

You can still follow news and updates from ABS-CBN through their official social media handles. However, it doesn’t seem like their YouTube channel is coming back soon. It’s also highly likely that the company will continue broadcasting through other platforms, such as Facebook and broadcast channels.
