India has finally gotten their hands on the best bang-for-the-buck 5G mid-range phone in 2021 — the Xiaomi Mi 10i. The handset packs a 120Hz adaptive display, Snapdragon 750G with a built-in 5G modem, and a whopping 108MP camera. If that all sounds too familiar, that’s because the Mi 10i is the re-branded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China. Now that the handset has reached overseas, it’s only a matter of time before Xiaomi’s best affordable phone goes global.
As expected, the Mi 10i is slightly more expensive in India than in China. For the 6GB/64GB model, it is priced at INR 20,999(~Php13,800), while the 6GB/128GB is at INR 21,999(~Php14,400). The top model with 8GB/128GB is available for INR 23,999(~Php15,700).
The Mi 10i comes in Pacific Sunrise, Midnight Black, and Atlantic Blue colors. It still runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 and sports the Samsung HM2 sensor.
Regardless of whether it’s the Mi 10i or the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, we hope to see either device in the Philippines very soon.
