
Elon Musk, Chief Technology Officer and owner of the platform now known as X (formerly Twitter), has introduced an early version of video and audio calling for select users.
This marks another milestone in Musk’s vision to evolve X into an all-encompassing “everything app.”
Musk shared details on the new feature through a post on the platform, guiding users on how to enable the feature.

Following the rebranding from Twitter to X, Musk made clear his intention to turn the platform into a super-app, offering a comprehensive suite of services, including messaging, social networking, and peer-to-peer payments.

Back in August, Musk had already teased this upcoming feature, emphasizing that users wouldn’t require a phone number to access it.
Importantly, this feature will be available on Apple’s iOS, Google’s Android, and personal computers, underlining X’s commitment to broad accessibility.
