After Realme X50 Pro 5G launched in India, its sister company followed up with the announcement of Vivo iQOO 3 gaming phone. The sub-brand of Vivo aims to deliver value-oriented gaming devices with flagship killer price tags. The availability of the gaming handset in India will start March 4 through the iQOO website and Flipkart. The prices of iQOO 3 5G are as follow:
If you’ve seen iQOO devices in the past, then you shouldn’t be surprised by the gaming-centric specs the iQOO 3 offers. It has Snapdragon 865 chipset alongside UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. To make sure gamers get the best mobile gaming experience, the affordable gaming device even comes with iQOO UI 1.0 which is based on Android 10. Furthermore, the Monster Touch buttons that provide haptic feedback when pressed should also make players a bit more competitive. A simultaneous press will activate Monster Mode that taxes the chipset processing to 100% for top-notch performance.
Given the iQOO 3’s marketing, you’d expect to see a high screen refresh rate. Unfortunately, the 6.44″ FHD+ Super AMOLED is capped at 60Hz only. On the flip side, it’s capable of reaching up to 1200nits brightness, 180Hz touch rate for better touch response, and HDR10+ playback which Vivo likes to call it Polar View Display.
Vivo iQOO 3’s colors are Volcano Orange, Tornado Black, and Quantum Silver. It’s highly unlikely for the device to launch in the Philippines, but even if it did, it’s going to face stiff competition against its fellow brand, the Realme X50 Pro.
