Everyone is expecting anytime soon that the Huawei P50 flagship smartphones would be having a launch date. Now, according to a tipster in Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site, the date for the launch is April 17, 2021.
According to @无然熊猫, the next line in the P series will be arriving in the mid-April but sources even say that shipments would be small than usual. This may be due to a shortage in chipsets but as of now, that is speculations.
It is expected that the Huawei P50 series will be arriving in three versions. The base variant, P50 Pro, and the P50 Pro+. We can also tell that these smartphones will be featuring top-notch HiSilicon Kirin 9000 series, great display, as well as high-end rear cameras.
Also, according to previous reports, the P50 will have the Kirin 9000E chipset while the other two will have Kirin 9000 processors. When it comes to screens, the base smartphone will have a 6.1 display, the P50 Pro will feature a 6.6-inch display while the P50 Pro+ will pack a 6.8 display. However, these details are unconfirmed and we have to wait for April 17 for the official launch of the P50 series.
