Samsung Galaxy 21 Could Sport 150MP and 64MP Cameras

Apparently, this is the first rumor surrounding the Galaxy 21 — the assumed successor to the Galaxy S20 that launched three months ago. Furthermore, the 2021 Samsung flagship phone will feature five cameras on the back — with the main sensor being a whopping 150MP, alongside 64MP telephoto, 12MP ToF, 16MP ultrawide, and another unidentified lens. Given this is Samsung, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

A few weeks ago, the company said that it aims to produce 600MP sensors. And if the 150MP is the next step after the 108MP of the Galaxy S20 Ultra, so be it. However, having a massive sensor on a phone doesn’t come with no issues. The cameras of the S20 Ultra were plagued with auto-white balance and autofocus issues out of the box. While the company did address the situation with software updates, it’s still not the kind of camera that’s regarded as the best on the market.
