One of the most anticipated phone releases this quarter is the Redmi Note 10 Series. Xiaomi looks to follow up its incredible Redmi Note 9 Series success last year by offering better performance and display this time around. But when Xiaomi’s India Twitter page polled its fans between “the best 120Hz IPS LCD” and “basic AMOLED,” the latter won by a landslide. The company probably didn’t expect the feedback since it deleted the poll almost right after. Whether it’s a coincidence, a retail box of Redmi Note 10 has been spotted online with, guess what, an AMOLED panel.
The vanilla Redmi Note 10 in the picture comes in green color, with indications of two key features: FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay and 48MP Quad-Cameras. Since AMOLED is more expensive than LCD, expect the same 60Hz refresh rate. However, the report suggests that this may be reserved for India only, and other markets might receive a different Note 10. Nevertheless, we only need to wait until March 4 for the official announcement of the Redmi Note 10 Series.
