Pixel Watch App is now live on Google Play

A Google-made watch is now available after a lengthy wait. It goes under the name Pixel Watch. The wearable combines the finest of Google and Fitbit with Wear OS 3.5. The smartwatch’s official app is now accessible for download on Google Play ahead of its scheduled release next week.

The new Pixel watch’s user interface is not supported by the Wear OS of the Google Smartwatch, hence it has a separate app for setup and setting configuration. The application is only right now accessible on Google Play. Because the watch requires an Android 8.0 or newer phone and a Google Account, it cannot be linked with iPhones.

The Fitbit app will be connected to the daily heart rate and exercise. The software isn’t really useful unless you already own a Pixel Watch, which you obviously don’t.

As previously known, Google unveiled the Pixel 7 series and its first wristwatch yesterday. The wristwatch has a round, domed glass display and is smaller than the majority of high-end smartwatches introduced this autumn. The watch’s case is 12.3mm thick and 41mm wide.

The Exynos 9110 processor from Samsung, which also powers the Galaxy Watch 3, is used to power the watch. To maximize battery life, the Pixel watch also has an extra Cortex M33 co-processor. It has 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM.

With a 294mAh battery, the Pixel Watch is said to last for 24 hours. Additionally, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, LTE, Wi-Fi, and NFC for contactless payments and is waterproof for up to five ATMs.
