As promised, the Company has released today a firmware update (via ITHouse) that includes support for LDAC on the Enco X2 earbuds. In the settings, users with Android 8.0 and above will be able to switch between LDAC and LHDC.
According to reports, the first-generation Oppo Enco X will begin supporting LHDC 4.0 on June 16. It will have a maximum bit rate of 900kbps.
In comparison to the OPPO Enco X, the OPPO Enco X2 features a lighter diaphragm with a thickness of 0.0095mm and a DCCA voice coil with a wire diameter of 0.033mm, thereby significantly reducing vibration system mass and decreasing weight by 31%.
