Nokia 6300, Nokia 8000 4G launched: WiFi, Whatsapp, and Facebook at P2k price

Nokia and HMD officially launched two new familiar smart feature phones: the Nokia 6300 4G LTE and Nokia 8000. Both are previous models that were launched originally by Finnish-brand Nokia more than a decade ago where smartphones are still not prominent.

Both smart feature phones feature KaiOS and are powered by Snapdragon 210 CPU with app support like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google Maps. There is also 4G cellular connectivity, FM Radio, and WiFi support along with a wireless Bluetooth connection and 3.5-mm audio jack features.

The Nokia 6300 4G resembles the original 6300 albeit on the same polycarbonate design and a faster processor as it runs on KaiOS. It has 4GB internal storage that supports expandable microSD card memory. It has a 2.4-inch colored screen and paired with a T9 alphanumeric keyboard.

The Nokia 8300 4G is more premium thanks to a glossy finish and a larger 2.8-inch display. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage with a microSD card.

Both are rated with 25 days battery life while on standby 4G connectivity thanks to the removable 1500 mAh battery.

The Nokia 6300 4G and 8000 4G will be available globally including in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, South Africa, and more countries.

The pricing for the 6300 4G is $50 or about P2,500 pesos in PHP and $79 or P3500 for the 8000 4G before taxes. Colors include Gray, White, Cyan for the 6300 4G, and Black Onyx and Gold for the 8000 4G.
