Three weeks after HMD Global announced its basic phones at IFA 2019, the company has brought the throwback Nokia 2720 Flip phone in the Philippines with a price of P4,790. It’s the latest attempt of the HMD to revive its legacy phones.
Nokia 2720 is probably something you wouldn’t use as a daily driver, however, it’s a flip phone that you can mindlessly fidget around. It also doesn’t mean that it’s not a capable phone as it functions more than a basic one. With KaiOS, Nokia 2720 can run YouTube, Facebook, and even Google Maps. There’s even a dedicated button for Google Assistant. You can also slide in your SIM card as it supports 4G connectivity. All that while lasting you up to 27 days worth of battery life between charges.
