LG continues to bolster its mid-range lineup with the addition of LG Q92 in South Korea. Carrying the design philosophy of LG Velvet, the Q92’s IP68 build is also MIL-STD 810G, which means it underwent several rigorous tests to assert durability. As seen from the images, the colorways are solid white, red, and blue that looks a lot like gray. At the core is the Snapdragon 765G that allows for 5G connectivity. Only one model is present — 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage — and costs KRW 499,000 or ≈Php20,400. LG Q92 will be available starting August 26 via the country’s major carriers.
LG takes the other route when it comes to cameras, refusing to go with the “hump” trend for a consistent, flushed look. Sensor-wise, we’re looking at 48MP, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP depth, and 2MP macro. What’s more, the 4K-capable camera gets coupled with LG Creator’s Kit that includes ASMR support through voice focusing. On top of that, there’s Time Lapse Control, and Cartoon & Sketch. As for the rest of the specs, there’s 6.67″ FHD+ pinhole cutout, Android 10 with LG UX, 32MP selfie, stereo speakers, audio jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging via USB-C.
