Google recently released a new beta update for Pixel devices, offering general enhancements and bug fixes.
This update is compatible with Pixel 5a and newer devices. In early November 2023, Google launched the Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2.2 update for beta testers, bringing over 30 changes to Pixel devices.
Notably, it addressed issues like pink text appearing in AOD mode on Pixel 8 Pro devices. Contrary to expectations, Google skipped the Beta 3 build and rolled out the Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1.
This latest beta update signals the impending arrival of the second major Android 14 update for eligible devices following the stable OS release. The QPR1 is anticipated to reach a stable status by December. Additionally, Google has already issued the November 2023 updates for its range of Pixel devices.
Also, among the fixes, the update addresses issues such as package manager crashes during app installations, problems with the Feedback app, and certain connectivity issues related to 5G.
The update includes several other adjustments geared toward enhancing the overall user experience.
