While ASUS is known for its gaming-centric laptops, PCs, accessories, and phones, it seems like the company is finally acknowledging the countless number of users who prioritizes cameras. After all, the majority of users in the world look for a better camera experience when buying a new phone. In China, the company launched its first gimbal — ZenGimbal — with a price of CNY 1099 (~Php7,800). Available via Tmall, here’s what you can expect from ASUS’ first-gen gimbal.
Much like foldable gimbals right now, the ZenGimbal comes with a three-fold trigger design that can slot right into a pocket. Though made for phones, the retractable crossbar can also support some GoPro cameras. Pan and tilting are supported, alongside various modes such as free shooting, inception, infinite rotating pan axis, 360-degree, and super-wide-angle. You can also shoot at a low angle. The 3050mAh battery, as ASUS claims, can last up to 10 hours.
