mentioning his stop at Apple’s store in Chengdu and meeting young gamers playing “Honour of Kings,” a popular online battle arena game developed by Chinese tech giant Tencent.

Cook praised the game’s global success and acknowledged its origins in Chengdu. He emphasized the immense enthusiasm people have for the game, both in China and worldwide.
Apple has been a significant provider of smartphones, laptops, and electronics in China since its entry in 1993.
Cook highlighted the mutually beneficial relationship Apple has with China. However, the company has faced challenges, including production disruptions due to China’s zero-Covid policy and US export controls affecting their supply chain.
