The report on SEA has information that shows L&D’s role is crucial in navigating the evolving future of work. Over 90% of regional professionals believe that upskilling employees will help businesses thrive amid macroeconomic uncertainty. Companies prioritize creating a culture of talent development and internal mobility to retain employees, with 60% providing learning opportunities. L&D leaders’ top priorities for 2023 are mentorship, upskilling, employee well-being, and digital transformation. A growing number of leaders are proposing large-scale upskilling initiatives.
