A couple of Xiaomi’s Redmi devices were released in India earlier this year. A Redmi 10, Redmi 10A, and Redmi C are also available, although there is no Redmi C in Indian markets. The company seems not to be done with the Redmi 10 series in India, as another device is on the way.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi India appears to have listed a device called the Redmi 10 2020 on its website. Other than the name, we don’t know what the device is, but it’s likely to be a 4G since 5G isn’t mentioned anywhere.
In addition to the possibility of it being a Redmi 10C, we could also speculate that the device might be a Redmi 10. However, it is implausible because the Redmi 10 is a better value for money than the Redmi 10C.
Let’s take a look at what the smartphone has to offer. We could expect a Full HD display for under ₹10,000 devices in the Indian market already provide it. Considering Redmi targets, we could expect the same in the 10,000-13,000 segment. If it happens, this could also mean that the device’s chipset would be weaker than the Redmi 10’s Snapdragon 680.
Right now, however, this is just speculation, and more information is needed to paint a more accurate picture.
Meanwhile, we can check the specifications of the current Redmi 10 to see what we can expect from this version.
