Since last year, rumors have been circulating about the device, and it appears it will be released soon. It has been rumored for months that Motorola will release the Edge 30 Ultra or the “Motorola Frontier.” This is Motorola’s flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 200MP camera.

It is no longer possible for the company to claim the title of “world’s first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 smartphone” since Xiaomi achieved it with the Xiaomi 12S series. However, it won’t be the first smartphone to have a 200MP camera, as Xiaomi will be releasing a 200MP camera smartphone soon.
Xiaomi 12S
Xiaomi and Motorola have been battling for first-to-market technologies since Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. As multiple devices have already been released, Motorola won’t be the second and won’t even be the third after Xiaomi.
Xiaomi is still working on a flagship smartphone with a 200MP camera. However, since Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is no longer a breakthrough, the company is focusing on the 200MP camera.
It has been speculated that the 200MP smartphone may be the upcoming Redmi K50S Pro or even the Xiaomi 12T Pro. It is worth noting that both devices may have the same sensor. This sensor is expected to be either the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 or the ISOCELL HP3.
Currently, we can only look forward to the Xiaomi 200mp camera smartphone. Likely, we won’t have to wait long since Xiaomi launches new devices in September.
