Vivo Y95 pros over Honor 8X
Gradient glass design and color of Vivo Y95
While both sports glass and gradient hue design, at a glance, the Honor 8X stands out easily between the two thanks to its attractive, reflective backing. Up front, that 1080p display is crisper compared to the 720p of the Vivo Y95.
In a typical fashion, both processing power and camera will differ.
> Vivo V11 vs Xiaomi Mi Max 3 — Specs Comparison
Starting with the specs, Honor makes use of a Kirin 710 featuring 4 high-power cores and 4 low-power cores thus making it best for intensive tasks. While Vivo makes do with a Snapdragon 439 with 4 low-power cores and 2 high-power cores configuration.
In terms of cameras, the Honor 8X takes this one with a wide 20MP + 2MP depth sensor. However, selfies will look sharper on the Vivo Y95 due to its 20MP sensor. Do take note that Honor’s main camera is capable of recording 1080p @ 60 fps and the selfie camera captures more scene due to its wider field-of-view.
If we’re talking about battery longevity, Vivo’s midrange device wins by a mile with its 4030mAh battery. Lastly, expect better Bluetooth connectivity for Vivo — supporting the latest 5.0 version.
The Honor 8X is seemingly the better buy here offering better overall specs, although the larger battery of Vivo Y95 could be a deal breaker for some users out there.
