
vivo has launched its latest smartphone under the V40 series in India, the vivo V40 Pro. As the name suggests, it is the Pro version of the regular vivo V40 launched back in June.
For specs, the device sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+, and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 3.35GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ octa-core processor with Immortalis-G715 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM (+12GB Extended RAM), up to 512GB internal storage, and 5,500mAh battery capacity with 80W FlashCharge via USB Type-C.
Camera-wise, it boasts a 50MP triple camera setup at the back co-engineered with ZEISS consisting of a 50MP SONY IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There’s also a 50MP selfie camera at the front.
The vivo V40 Pro is now available in India. No word yet for local availability.
